So, I woke up this morning and was all "asdflkjasdkfj MUST WRITE FIC".
So, I did. Yes, another one. I don't know where all this is coming from! Might be because I am supposed t be doing other things, haha.
Fortunately, this one is very short (not finished yet, but so far it's 1/2 a handwritten page, and I don't see it getting much longer than one page double-sided), so whatev. Won't take too much time to finish and edit.
And it's Poland/Lithuania. I think they're quickly passing Canada/US as my favourite, which is... unexpected, but of course I don't mind one bit, because they're awesome and at the same time they're so... so... ;~;!!!! So sad. Yes.
(There are poppies involved. Whoo.)
Anyway. So, there's that.

Ehhhhh I have a shitton of work to do today. Lovely. And laundry, that too. Sigh. I don't know if I should go to the Roastery to do my work, or what. Maybe. Then again, I might wait until the evening, because on Sundays the Roastery tends to be EXTREMELY CROWDED because everything else is closed, and there isn't much to do, so everyone goes there. Poo.
And I think I'm getting a cold, because my nose is plugged. Or maybe that's because I woke up all weepy, because the dream I was having was SO SAD.

....

I think I have far too much sensibility, and not nearly enough sense.

And, ARRRGH. This is completely unrelated, but I wish I hadn't had to leave my Moomin comics behind when I moved last summer. ;~; It was bad enough losing my classical literature, but... but... Moomins! I want to re-read them, but I can't. Noooooooo

Being hit with the desire to write is a bit like being hit with a brick. It's rather unnerving, especially because it doesn't happen very frequently.

Also, it's REALLY ANNOYING how I can write five different versions of a poem and still find that it's missing something!
... Yeah. Uh. I wrote a companion poem to the fic that I wrote this morning. It hit me, WHAM, while I was walking home after getting groceries. Very short, 4-6 lines depending on the version. Still needs work.
I AM LAME.

And I think I forgot that my laundry was in the dryer. Bugger. 's probably all wrinkly now.

Well, "Wihtikow" is edited. It ended up being relatively minor changes in the long run. So, that's good.
Now, though, I have no idea what to do with it. I don't think it's kosher for [livejournal.com profile] hetalia because it's pretty much all about Turtle Island. Talking about Canada and Britain and such, yes, but it's all from his perspective. [He is in my 1812 fic as well, because I couldn't possibly leave him out of that, but his part in that one is minor, so once I have a final edit on 1812, it will be posted to [livejournal.com profile] hetalia] But I haven't found another community where I'd be comfortable posting it. Maybe I'll just let it sit, for now.

I've typed up the Poland/Liet thing, and even though it's short (less than 450 words, and that includes the poem). I think it will need some significant editing. This is because it has turned out to be something close to a prose-poem, so things like line breaks and the use (or non-use) of certain bits of grammar become very important. Guh. But, that's fine. This is poetry. It's easier for me to make bad poetry good than it is for me to make bad prose good.
And after that edit, I shall post it here because [livejournal.com profile] parzi is the best guinea pig ever and [livejournal.com profile] hokuton_punch likes to sing my praises. After the second edit it shall go up on [livejournal.com profile] hetalia, I do declare.

The one about 1812 will have to wait, partly because LONG FIC IS LONG. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if it is something in the neighbourhood of 2,000/2,500 words. It's 3.5 handwritten leafs, anyway ("Wihtikow", at ~1,000 words, was 1.5 handwritten leafs). And it's going to need a shitton of editing.

Aaaaand that's all I have to say about that. I'm a little bit tired, but I still have a lot of work to do. Mmph.
Also, I had to read some Isaac Newton this evening. Guy is seriously difficult to understand. His writing is pretty, but it doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever. He would've made a good poet.

Also: I am so full of love right now that it's not even funny. ♥
