Jan. 11th, 2009 05:05 pmBeing hit with the desire to write is a bit like being hit with a brick. It's rather unnerving, especially because it doesn't happen very frequently.
Also, it's REALLY ANNOYING how I can write five different versions of a poem and still find that it's missing something!
... Yeah. Uh. I wrote a companion poem to the fic that I wrote this morning. It hit me, WHAM, while I was walking home after getting groceries. Very short, 4-6 lines depending on the version. Still needs work.
I AM LAME.
And I think I forgot that my laundry was in the dryer. Bugger. 's probably all wrinkly now.

Date: 2009-01-12 04:49 am (UTC)Heh, that's kind of that nature of poetry. I used to go through five or six versions of poems (or even per stanza, which, trust me, got headache-inducing when I wrote multi-stanza poems) when I wrote them. It'll be worth it in the end, though. *hug*
