Judo adventures 4.37

Attending: Me, M1, C & TJ, Ma & Jo & Ge, Eth, G, and two other kids. TN-sensei instructing and Ry-sensei assisting.

M1 was going to go to the Saskatchewan Open, but unfortunately had to drop out. It's too bad - interprovincial stuff will help him with nationals - but if you gotta work, you gotta work.

We didn't work on any specific techniques today; it was moreso conditioning. I partnered with TJ.

There was a little bit of randori at the end. I did one round with M1. That went okay, I suppose.

I keep wishing I could go to Saturday class. The weekday classes are just too big; too many people, and I don't have time to work on perfecting the (basic, standard) techniques that I want to work on. I can't practice breakfalls to perfection because there are too many damn people on the mat. Not sure what to do about it, though.

The level of pain in my foot is also a real bummer. Oh, well.
