Judo adventures 4.33

Attending: Me, Eth, G, Ma & Jo & Ge. J-sensei instructing.

This was an early class on holiday hours, so it started at 7. That's a little too early for me; basically I have to stuff my face and wash the dishes as quickly as possible before booking it out the door. But I do like the earlier finish time.

I am Very Very out of shape, oh man. Warmup pretty much killed me.

We worked on sode tsurikomi goshi. Basically just did drills for that, and then throwing onto the mat. With this one, you can't really do a breakfall if you are uke, because both hands are gripped. Hence the mat. I worked on both right and left handed versions; it's hard to get the footwork correc for the lefthanded version but I made a good attempt.

Good class. Wednesday's class will be normal start time.
