Judo adventures 4.25

Attending: Me, M1, F, C, TJ, Mo, Ed, Eth, No. J-sensei and TN-sensei instructing.

We worked on grips today. I partnered with F.

Basically we did variations of the same thing. Grab the lapel on your left side, then use your left hand to grab the sleeve on your left side. Then you let go of the lapel and put your hand on the hand on the left side. And then you either swing them around, or just reach for the right side of the lapel.

We did variations of this for the whole class. It was pretty okay. There was discussion about how you should work up to a certain speed and rhythm. Me and F were not so much focused on this since we aren't competing. Mostly we were just trying to get into some kind of rhythm at all.

The annual general meeting last night was okay. There was discussion of various things, mostly that we're going to need to do a 50/50 to raise some funds. And also that we're going to have a christmas party at some point.
