We worked on harai-goshi. One point that TN-sensei emphasized was keeping your pinky up when doing the pull with your left hand. You don't turn so that your thumb is upward; you lift with the pinky up.
I find this throw is easier when I'm not trying to do it specifically.
We also worked on O-guruma and Ashi-guruma. The main difference between these is the placement of the reaping leg - if it's high, it's o-guruma, and if it's below the knee it's ashi-guruma. One main thing to keep in mind with this is to step far to the right with your right foot - not too much though, because then you'll have trouble reaching. Ditto with the left - when you plant it, it needs to be close to the right foot. Otherwise, you won't be able to reach.
I found a very interesting article on judo in Lethbridge: here. For a while I've been wondering why Lethbridge is such a powerhouse in Canadian Judo; after reading that, it all makes sense. Dedication and passion going back decades, and a really strong Japanese base!
