J-sensei is back from vacation. It's nice to see him again.

We worked on morote-seoinage for more of the class. One point J-sensei mentioned is that it should be straight on, centred; not with hips to the side like a hip throw. After making that adjustment, it was much easier for me. Still challenging though.

Then we worked on morote-seoinage as a setup for ouchi-gari. In this case, instead of rotating fo you're centred and completely forward, you need to be in more of a T position, as you would be for ouchi-gari, while the hands are still positioned for morote. Then you go in for the ouchi-gari.

After that we worked on a turnover. It's similar to T-sensei's turnover into a camora, but a more elaborate setup in the beginning, which I'm not a fan of.

VP was there in between classes. I asked if she's doing the race, because I'm trying to decide between 3k and 5k. She said she might be able to do 3k. I don't know if she will show up, but I'll sign up for 3k anyway.
