Judo adventures 3.66

Attending: Me, M1, C, Ma & Jo, Mo, Ed, & Ry-sensei's little daughter, J-chan. Ry-sensei and Ri-sensei instructing. We also had a returning member, Di, who has been out of judo for 7-8 years.

We played a long game of handball, then I leead stretching. Then we did upright uchikomi.

9 setup, then throw on 10, then partner does it, then move 1 down to the next person. And then we moved on to throwing the line onto the crash mat.

I generally prefer to do drills rather than games to warm up, because I find they do more to warm me up and condition. But it's okay. Since provincials are on this weekend, I think Ry-sensei wanted everyone to take it easy.

Classes are cancelled for Saturday due to provincials.

There was an email about going to nationals, but it mentioned vounteering, not as spectator. Uh... I don't know if I want to go if I'm going to have to work. I'll have to ask VP about it. Maybe if we do 1 shift but have the rest of the time free, if we can do it together, maybe. I don't know. So, maybe I won't go after all.
