Judo adventures 3.32

Attending: Me, C, Ma & Jo, E. Instructing: T-sensei, Ry-sensei, and Ja-sensei.

Started with groundwork. We did escapes that involved grabbing the belt when you're in guard, hauling them close so they crunch, grabbing sleeve on your right, then making your way to the left. Arm on the right goes under, legs slip over your shoulder, and you can pull their arm underneath them and go in for a hold down.

Also worked on uchikomi for ippon-seoinage and sode-tsuru-komigoshi. With sode, you need to haul the one sleeve high and tuck the lower in - that helps them go over more easily.

There will be class on Saturday, which surprises me a bit. But I did ask T-sensei about it, and he says that there will be class, so I'll be there. Not sure about Monday; if there's class, I'll go, but I don't expect there will be.
