+ We had a windchill of -33C this morning. Time to haul out the ushanka, I guess.

+ I narrowly avoided being elected to the judo club's board at our annual general meeting this evening. (I was nominated for a director position, but declined. ...Maybe next year we'll see, after I settle into my new job.)

+ Something about crappy winter weather makes me want to watch Akira Kurosawa movies. There's something about it that makes me want to cozy up with tea and blankets and watch something long and dramatic and Very Good.

Hopefully once I've settled into my job more, I'll be more open to considering the possibility. 'Cause like, not a lot of people are interested in helping out, but somebody's got to do it.
