Judo adventures 3.8

Attending: Me, M1, M3, TJ, A, Kz, Mr, H, C, SJ, B, and V-chan. Sensei instructing.

Big class today! It was nice to see A and V-chan again.

We worked on arm bars; the same one that we did the other day. I partnered with A for that. It took us a while to figure out the procedure, but then I got it. The trick is to shrimp so that you're perpendicular to your opponent - then you can flip them over and get the arm bar.

There was a bit of randori at the end. I went with M3, then B, then V-chan. I actually managed to get a choke-to-armbar combo on V-chan; Sensei was impressed. Mind you, the only reason I was able to manage that is because she hasn't been to class since sessions started; she was sick for a month, so she's not in her best form. She'll be kicking my ass again soon. :P

It was a nice class; looking forward to the next one.
