Judo Adventures 2.24

Attending: Me, A, L, M, M3 & M3's kid, H, Kz, V-chan, C, SJ. Sensei and V-sensei instructing.

The plan Sensei had for someone to come in and show us some Excellent Judo fell through due to scheduling. But the guy is working in the municipal area, so who knows, he might show up some time.

Anyway!

Partnered with Victoria for a bit. We did some moving uchikomi, but she's so strong that she got me on my ass a few times when that wasn't really intended, lol.

Did some randori with her too. Man, she is so tough. And really good at getting me in a hold-down, orz.

Also did some randori with M3's kid. Said kid is pretty good! Half my size, but managed to throw me several times, and evade my throws most of the time.

Sensei announced that this year we're sending a small team to the nationals in Montreal! It'll be Se, V-sensei, Kz, and C. And next year, the open nationals are in Calgary - so since it'll be closer, they might be able to send a larger team. Obviously I'm not going to have anything to do with this, but it's really cool that they're able to do that.
