I'll be honest, I'm just as pleased with my awesome success at parallel parking this evening as I am with anything I actually managed to do in class.

Attending: Me, M, Se, F, and the four teenagers. R-sensei instructing.

Tuesdays are review days moreso than learning anything new. So.

Started off with groundwork. Basic turnovers. Then a bit of groundwork randori. Partnered with M for the turnovers, then Se for the randori. Managed to get Se with a clock choke, which was pretty satisfying. 8)

Then upright uchikomi, setups down the mat and then full throw. We cycled through partners and just picked whatever we wanted to work on. I worked on a bunch of things, including the sode tsurikomigoshi that V taught me recently-ish. Confirmed that it's much more easy to do that one on someone tall like M, but not so good for F, who is shorter than I am.

Then upright randori. I managed to get M with one of the techniques V taught me - the one where you pull someone down sharply, then reach back over them to grab their belt, and then go in for an osoto-gari. Works very well on tall people, whoo!

Also did a round with one of the kids. That was fun, but I always feel weird about it 'cause like - they're so small! It makes me worried that I'll squish them or something. But all of our teen students a lot better at judo than I am, so like, I should just get over myself. ;V

Very tired. Will probably be doing judo tomorrow as well due to scheduling. ...I might regret this. ;V
