Judo adventures - Class 65

Attending: Me, J, VP, M, M2. Sensei instructing.
Sensei informed me that Vi won't be in for the rest of the season; she'll come back in September - school's way too busy right now. Disappointing, but understandable.

Today was a review of the chokes from last Tuesday (I think?). Just the basic ones, both from behind and from mount. And then we tried the non-basic ezekiel choke, which we learned several weeks ago. After that, a little randori.

Did a round with J; he was pretty tough but I managed to squirm out of his holds most of the time - pretty satisfying. After that, did one with M2, which was challenging but I managed to avoid getting my ass completely kicked, so there we are. In fact, I did manage to get a choke on him for at least a few seconds during that round, so there is that.

Was going to say something else, but no brains. Bed time for me!
