Judo Adventures - Class 31

-40C this evening. Small class as a result. Me, J-kun, K-kun, R-kun, with T-sensei instructing.

100% groundwork. Review of techniques from previous classes. Nothing new introduced today. (And honestly, the specifics are escaping me.)

Groundwork randori toward the end of class. Partnered with J, also K (R was not available because he was way too worn out by the time I came to him, hah.) I was able to go a round with T-sensei, which was both unusual and very fun! I didn't manage to find many opportunities to get anywhere with him, but at least he didn't kick my ass too badly. :P

Bleh, with groundwork it's like - I can practice technique, sure, but once we get to the freeform stuff, I find it really hard to see spaces where I can move in to implement any of the stuff we actually learned. (Ah well, I guess that'll come with time.)

Next class will be Thursday, and then after that there will be nothing until January 10th. Will have to remember to mark that on my calendar.
