Judo adventures - class 11

yuuagoLong class today. Therefore, groundwork. Today was me, K, J, L, and S.
We spent some time reviewing the triangle and arm bar stuff we learned last groundwork class, and then did some variations. And then Sensei tried to teach us something else - a more complex variation than what we were doing before - but it was very difficult to get the steps down, and I think I might not be flexible enough to pull this one off properly yet. K had trouble with it too.
For randori, I had Sensei as partner, due to the odd number of people. That worked out really well - he gave me some instruction while we did it, "Okay, to get out of this, you do like so" - I don't remember the specifics at the moment, but I think I'll be able to recall it next session.
Ended up with some mat burn in weird places, but it was a good class. Lots of fun, lots of improvement, yay. (Oh man, I'm so tired.)
