yuuagoI keep meaning to take up geocaching again, and then just... not. It's partly because a lot of the caches that I know about are in forest areas, so it isn't safe to go there alone during bear season. But another reason is that Fort Mac is just not very impressive when it comes to number, variety, and maintenance of caches. It's very "An Attempt Was Made".
Still. I haven't checked for a while. I should look. Maybe I'll be surprised.
Definitely looking forward to my trip to Newfoundland next year. We'll be in the provincial capital. Big city with lots of tourists. There's bound to be some neat caches in the city centre.
Then again, do I need to add another hobby when my daily walks take up so much of my time? Haaa....
I've gone down roughly a size over the past year. Feel kind of conflicted about it. I don't like that people keep commenting on my weight. Aside from more fraught reasons, it's just a very rude thing to do. On the other hand, all of those shirts that my mom shrank in the wash fit me now, so there's that. On the other-other hand, a lot of my other clothes don't fit properly any more, which is quite a problem because I really don't want to buy new clothes. ...But since I'm still working from home, it's not something I need to worry about right now.
Have been slacking on the bodyweight exercises becauuuuse for quite a while there it was too hot to do that sort of thing. But I'll have to look into starting it up again soon. And maybe some other stuff.
Mostly still working on cardio, though.
There's this one hill near my house... pretty steep. The route I usually take typically goes down it, but now that the weather's cooling down a little, I'm planning to start to go up it instead. I think the effort will really pay off.
Man, I enjoy working out outside so much... The gym is reopened but even without the pandemic stuff going on, I don't think I'd go. SUNSHINE!!! FRESH AIR!!! YAY.
