Good Omens Season 2 - ?!

There is going to be a second season of Good Omens! Neil Gaiman posted about it on his blog here.

I'm tentatively excited! In general, I feel like the story stands well by itself, and it doesn't need a sequel, but if ideas for it have been floating around that long, and everyone's on board, well... Why not. ;V

Of course, even after it's released, I won't be able to watch it until it's out on disc, so it'll be quite the wait. But I'm still looking forward to it!

I was cautiously optimistic for the show, and now I'm cautiously optimistic for more. I didn't think it needed (or would get) any more episodes, but I did enjoy the first season.

(Also, I love that the promo image is them sharing an umbrella <3)

That's generally my thought too! It's worth looking into if they're making it, but if it turns out to be too far afield from what I love about the original, then I can just strike it from my memory.

Yeah! I expect if it disappoints, it'll be pretty easy to ignore it and just stick with the originals as far as like, fannish appreciation is concerned.
