I received an email from my workplace today. I'm starting work again next week! Hooray!

I'm so glad about this, oh man. It'll be so nice to be working again.

It'll still be at home - partly because of the pandemic, but also because renovations at the office aren't complete yet. They're still cleaning up from the flood. (I wonder just how much damage that caused. Wouldn't surprise me if they had to redo the electric on the ground floor and such.)

I'm really looking forward to starting up again.

In the meantime, looks like me 'n mom need to get around to cleaning out the basement while I'm still available to help with that. I kept telling her that we should do it, since it hasn't been done in 10 years, and it's a really big job, and it's better to do it while I can help, and now... well... ;) ;)

Ooh I'm glad you get to go back! Or, you know, going back in the "doing stuff and getting paid" sense, not physically being in the building. I'm dreading my own (not yet certain but definitely approaching) return to work, but the added job security will be nice.
