[TV] The Exorcist - S2

Finished watching season two of The Exorcist tv series this evening.

I liked this one a lot more than the first. In many ways, it had an atmosphere more suited to a haunted house story, which is a type of horror much more to my taste. And pretty much all of the characters were more interesting to me (I found it kind of difficult to care about the family from the first season).

On the one hand, this series was cancelled, so there won't be any more. On the other, I think it tied pretty well; I found the ending satisfying.

It took me ages to get through the first season, whereas this one, I watched in the span of about a week. But I'm glad that I did start with the first - this one wouldn't have been as satisfying if I didn't have the context for the leads and their relationship.

Anyway. Took me a long time to get around to it because the first run didn't grab me, but I'm glad that I did take the time to watch it.

It's a really good season - I loved Verity, and all the kids, and John Cho as the best foster dad ever until he wasn't.

I loved everyone in S2. Verity was my favorite, but I loved them all.
