[Promare] Rarepair thoughts

If Kray were a woman, I'd probably ship her with Heris in a darkfic sort of way. I'm not interested in the pairing as it is in canon, but with that one change, it suddenly becomes interesting to me.

See, I was thinking about how I find Heris interesting as a character. (Because I do - she's more complex than I'd expect from such a ridiculous movie.) And then I considered that there aren't very many female characters out there that have a role like Kray's. And then I just put those two thoughts together, and....

I suppose part of the appeal is power, and corruption, and abuse of power, and Heris knowing all this is wrong but going along anyway - but then the F/F aspect in this particular AU is what makes it something I'd want to read. Otherwise, it'd kind of squick me out. (Probably. Though in the hands of a talented writer, I could probably roll with anything.)

I doubt I'll write anything with this, but who knows.

Speaking of Heris, I just noticed that there's Heris/Lucia fic out there. And. ?... !! I never would have considered this, but suddenly I'm into the idea. Scientist girlfriends!! Cute!

You'd need an awful lot of plot in order to get it set up, though, considering the roles that they both have in the story. I'm curious now, though. Well damn, it looks like I'm going to have to read this thing. (I guess I have all the time in the world for that now, since I'm not working any more... sigh.)
