We made this Cranberry Brie Bites recipe from Delish to have as appetizers for Thanksgiving, and man, were they ever good!

Definitely going to try this one again. We'll probably make it at Christmas.

Instead of cranberry sauce, you could use a tart jam (like sour cherry). We used walnuts instead of pecans.

This recipe calls for premade dough, but obviously it'd work with a homemade one - we just liked the crescent roll dough suggestion because it's easy for us, and takes less time.

The recipe suggests using canned cranberry sauce. We did that this year, because we weren't sure how much we would actually need. But next time, we'll probably use homemade cranberry sauce, since the amount that we make would cover this recipe plus what we need for the actual supper.

I found the video that went with the recipe helpful re: figuring out how many cuts to make.

You have to make sure not to overfill the cheese - the pieces I put in were a bit too big, and we got some overflow. They were still really good, though. ;)

Copy of the recipe under the cut.

Cranberry Brie Bites

Ingredients:

1 (8-oz.) tube crescent dough
Cooking spray, for pan
Flour, for surface
1 (8-oz.) wheel of brie
1/2 c. whole berry cranberry sauce
1/4 c. chopped pecans
6 sprigs of rosemary, cut into 1" pieces.

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375° and grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out crescent dough, and pinch together seams. Cut into 24 squares. Place squares into muffin tin slots.

Cut brie into small pieces and place inside the crescent dough.

Top with a spoonful of cranberry sauce, some chopped pecans, and one little sprig of rosemary.

Bake until the crescent pastry is golden, about 15 minutes.
