Pride + YMM

yuuagoI was worried that I'd miss the city's annual pride event, because I'll be out of town for a bit in August. But it turns out that I won't be away on that date. Yay!
Last year's event was kind of a snoozer, but maybe I just wasn't feeling it on that particular day or something. I feel the need to go just to show support and so on, since this region is so damn conservative, and it's amazing that we have anything at all.
Also Pride YMM has a new website. It's shiny! Props to whoever designed that; I like the look of it. Though I expect a lot of information will still show up on the facebook group first. Ah, well.
