☆ I think perhaps that the holidays were So Busy that by now, I'm thoroughly socialized-out. Including internet things. Who'd have thought. I just want to curl up with a book and... not... talk to anybody at all. Or hibernate, maybe. (Please say it's not just me?)
☆ I didn't know Ravelry had a Project Challenge - but they sure do. A bit like the Goodreads reading challenge, but for knitting projects (obviously). Neat! I've set mine to finish 3, which I think is low enough to be realistic but high enough to be a challenge, knowing my tendency to get distracted and not finish projects for ages.
☆ While tidying up, I came across two large balls of yarn. No labels, no nothing! They're worsted acrylic and beyond that I have no earthly clue. I think that I might have intended to do a trial run of Quandary Peak Mittens; I know that at one point, I wanted to make them, but was not confident in my mitten-knitting abilities, and didn't want to waste good yarn on them. Hmmm... Something for the challenge, maybe? ;)
☆ Reminder: Signups for Chocolate Box are open until the end of January 07th (details here). I see a lot of great requests already. :D Come join us? ...I should probably add more things to my prompts before signups close. I mean, there's enough to work with, but they're a bit sparse compared to other years. :Va
☆ There is a new comm for The Terror series:
theterror. And when I say 'new' what I actually mean is 'new as of today'. Perhaps of interest to some? ...And no, I haven't watched the series yet (I know, I know.) Honestly, I think I will just borrow the discs from the library, so I can watch it on my main computer instead of having to fuss with other devices. That would probably be best.
☆ Last night was very relaxing: good tea, knitting, and listening to some classical music and such. I feel the need to note it down because - well, it isn't every day that things are just so... nice.
