Sometimes I find it so disheartening that the person that I would be with - the person I would like to be Involved with, if she wanted to, if it were possible - is so far away. It means that this isn't possible. It isn't even possible for us to find out if we would be compatible in that sense.

I have done the long distance thing, and I have hated it, and the idea is completely off the table even if I don't know for sure what she thinks of it.

It does feel good to know that there is someone who would accept me as I am if, maybe, it were possible. But, it's over seven thousand kilometres.... It's just not worth thinking about it.
