screenexchange? I was going to hold off doing any exchanges until Multifandom Drabble, but this one is having a drabble round before the typical 1k minimum round, so that's interesting. Signups start on the 10th, so now is a good time to toss in noms if necessary. I threw a few in so that I'll have enough options to request/offer in case I do decide to do it.
☆ I have successfully managed to resist succumbing to the temptation of buying more yarn. Hooray. No progress on that scarf I've been working on, mind you - the pattern is way too complicated for me to manage while watching anything with subtitles, so I had to put it on hold. We'll see how quickly it'll go now - as long as I don't fuck up my wrists again. (Let's not bet on the chances of that, I'm my own worst enemy.)
☆ The upcoming week is going to be so busy and I'm really not looking forward to it. Long shifts + giving up my weekend to do a first aid course. I'm looking forward to the course, especially since I won't have to pay for it (my employer is footing the bill. SWEET) but I expect that I'm going to be very, very tired by the time everything is done.
☆ Now that I'm finished with NiF, I'll probably tackle The Terror... some of the spoilers I've seen have me really interested. Lady Silence can speak in this one, which is a significant departure from the novel. I knew that her actress had speaking roles, but I guess I had assumed it was internal monologue voiceover stuff. Anyway, it makes me wonder about what other changes were made. It'll be interesting to compare it to the novel.
