yuuagoI think in the morning I will go into the forest... There are a lot of things in the world that have been weighing heavily on me, and I need to clear my head.
It will likely be very cold. The wind brings it down to -30C in the mornings as of late. But it's sheltered in there, and the trees cut the wind, leaving it at around -20, which isn't so bad.
It's good to just sit there and listen to the forest and watch the incense smoke coiling up and think about things. Or not think about all that much, as the case may be.
And if there is enough light to read, maybe I'll read some poetry.
With regard to the divine, I have come to some conclusions about it/her that I never would have entertained the possibility of before. But it is what it is. It's tempting to wonder why, but why isn't necessarily the question I should be asking - and I realize this - because the why doesn't matter all that much, and the whims of gods are generally no human's business anyway.
Maybe I'll come to some understanding. Or maybe not. The cool air and quiet will be good for me, so it's a win either way.
