So, I found out that I'll have the house to myself on November 4th.

Dziady is November 1st/2nd. But I'm used to moving my religious celebrations in order to accommodate other people's schedules. It's nothing new to have to do things on a different day.

So, there we have it. I'll do it on November 4th.

If I were living by myself... you know, it's very possible that I would do this anyway, considering the 1st/2nd falls in the middle of the week. Work is a thing. (I mean, I could take those days off if I were living alone, I have the vacation time available - but would I want to? That's the question. And I'm not sure I would.)

Anyway. I'm looking forward to having the privacy that I'll need in order to do this properly. It's better to do these things when nobody else is in the house. (Nobody corporeal, anyway. Hah.) And it means I'll have a couple of extra days to put things together. Not that I'd need it per se, but - I do want to clean the house from top to bottom, and that takes time/effort.

Augh, so many things I need to take care of first... It's all little things, but, you know. Piles up a bit. I should make a list - some time this week, probably. Otherwise, I'll never be able to keep it all straight.
