I have a vague desire to go into the woods and do some... stuff.

Well, more than a vague desire. I really want to do it. But we'll see if I follow through.

I want to make some offerings, but there are a few things I'll have to pick up first, and I'll need to think about it carefully.

And the place that I want to go is... not terribly close to my house. It's a bit of a walk. But not too bad. If I leave early, it'll be fine.

But it might be a little difficult to find the right place. With all of the controlled burning that they've been doing in the forest, will I even recognize it? ...Well. I guess there's only one way to find out.

I don't even know what kind of gift would be appropriate for Winter. But I guess I have a few days to think of something.

It's been a very long time since I've done anything like this, so... we'll see how it goes.
Hopefully the weather will be suitable.
