Random Y!OI thoughts (Ep 06)

yuuagoFinally got around to watching the latest Yuri on Ice episode~! In fact, I think maybe from now on I'll just save it for weekend, because it's a lot easier for me to find time to settle down and enjoy it that way.
But, anyway. Thoughts under the cut - it's a little bit liveblog-y, because I was scribbling notes in a .txt while I watched it. ;p
So many new characters! *_* Including a few we got a glimpse of, but didn't actually see... (Yes, I did get excited about that brief shot of JJ, WHY DO YOU ASK. xD Oh my gosh, he looks like such a cheesy dork, I love it.)
But, anyway. New characters. Oh my gods, Christophe. xD What a guy. He's so ridiculous. Actually, you know - I'm not crazy about his character design, or even his characterization, but when I first heard his voice, I had to pause the ep for a bit because I was blushing, PFFFF. It's a very nice voice! I should probably look up other stuff his voice actor has done, because, fff. Wow. Well then. xD
...and also I kind of ship Chris/Victor, what the hell. Just because of the rivalry thing, really.
(Though I must say, I'm not sure what I thought of him during his skate program. PFFFFFF. "Sex appeal", well, he... isn't to my taste in that regard, but. xD Ah, well~ Though I am very amused that it looks as if they spent at least 50% of the budget on his ass.)
But more importantly....

Ahhh his skating sequence was <3 <3 "He made the music his own" HE SURE DID. Also, I love how Celestino is so... openly encouraging and enthusiastic and so on, toward him - they seem to have a really great professional relationship, and I just found it rather heartwarming.
But wow, Yuuri and Victor in this ep.
"Don't take your eyes off me" Hm... :D
"I'm the only one who can satisfy Victor" FfffFF
And Victor's cheering at the end!!!
Unrelated: I really, really love Yurio's new hairstyle... so pretty! *_* I need more opportunities to stare at him. Most adorable little grumpypants, yes. <3
....I have no idea how I feel about Georgi but I approve of the glitter and the ridiculous makeup. xD
I really like Leo, though.
"I want to fill the whole world with things I like!" What a way to approach things. :D He just seems so... sunny? It's nice.
...Also I really like that little blush Guang-Hong Ji had when he was watching Leo's program. xD (Maybe I ship this too? IT WOULD BE CUTE)
SO MUCH SKATING IN THIS EPISODE. I loved it. Yessss this is my fanservice, pretty skating sequences! This is what I'm here for!
