☆ Cookies are happening soon. Probably tomorrow. And the next day. ...We make a lot of them. I'm not entirely sure why; it isn't like when we used to go down to Drumheller and visit the extended family and bring enough cookies to feed a small army. It's just the four of us. I'm not about to complain about having surplus cookies, especially since they freeze well, but it's a lot of work. Regardless, I'll probably post up some recipes soon, once we get started with that.
☆ Writing club was good and productive! Finished one draft, worked on another, and it was all good. There were only three of us today, as the other two members were on vacation. But it was still nice. We're not doing it next week, for obvious reasons, so it'll resume in January. "See you next year!" is so funny to say, even if it's the truth. ...I should make a tag for this but ugh, retagging... zzzz.
☆ Note to self: Upcoming solstice is 9:49 PM MST on Dec 21st. Don't forget. Because if you forget again, future-me, I will whack you upside the head. Somehow. You might be a super lazy pagan, but there's no excuse to forget a date so simple as that.
