I decided to share my mum's fudge recipe. We make it every year, and it's delicious. <3

Pardon the mixture of imperial and metric measurements; my only excuse is that we're Canadian.

3 cups sugar
3/4 cup margarine or butter
170ml of evaporated milk (we use 1/2 of a 380ml can)
1 175g pkg chocolate chips*
1 250g package marshmallows
1cup walnuts, crushed
1 tsp vanilla

Combine sugar, butter, evaporated milk. Bring to a boil.

Stir constantly and boil for 5 minutes on medium heat.

Remove and stir in chocolate chips. Add marshmallow, nuts, and vanilla.

Stir until mixed well.

Pour into a greased 9x9 pan (or a larger pan for thinner pieces) and put in the fridge until the next day.

After a few hours score squares with knife for easy removal later.

*Depending on what kind of chocolate chips you use, the texture and taste will be a little different. For a creamier taste, use milk chocolate. We usually use semi-sweet chocolate.
Texture will also vary depending on whether you use butter or margarine; we usually use margarine.

That is a perfectly natural mix of metric and imperial measurements (as far as I can determine, Canadians are pretty consistent in what we measure in metric and what we measure in imperial).
