yuuagoIt's supposed to rain all week and I'm not happy about it.
I'm reading Jonathan Strange and Mister Norrell and while the novel has, theoretically, absolutely everything that I would love - magic! history! footnotes! - I keep putting it down every time I put it up. However, considering I've been reading it during my commute to work, I think it has more to do with exhaustion than with the book itself. I've been a little overtired for the past few... weeks.
Lovely.
On the upside, I just came to the part where Jonathan Strange steps into the picture, and I have a feeling things are going to get really interesting, so I'm excited to read the rest. And... because of some references to it in earlier parts of the novel, my interest in tarot has possibly been revived a little, though whether it's a passing fancy or not it's hard to say. I have two books on reading them, but I've never actually owned a deck, so. ... We will see.
Wish I weren't so exhausted, though! I have so many things I need/want to do, it's ridiculous.
