Dogs. And autumn photos.

First things first: Happy birthday,
diplopod! (ノ◉ヮ◉)ノ :。・:*:・゚'✿,。・:*:❀・゚'❁
Just be glad I'm not singing it to you. I always forget the words.
ANYWAY. Now. I haven't been getting as much done as I thought I would because these dogs are a huge pain in the butt, always up in my business. But perhaps today I'll get something more done. We'll see.
I took some photos yesterday! Not much, just one with the dogs and also a little bit of the area near where I live. I couldn't go very far because again, dogs. And I took a bunch but only a few turned out because they kept pulling at the leash and making my hands shake and resulting in blurry photos and fuuuuuu. I'll just post the ones that turned out.

These are my brother's dogs. Jacob is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel on the left, and Louie is the German Shorthair Pointer on the right. Jacob isn't too much trouble because CKCSs are low-energy and if he's being a bother you can just pick him up. Louie's the one who's a real pain in the ass. Damn working dogs and their energy, fuuuu. 8| My bro is working on training him for hunting pheasants and ducks and gods know what else.

Entering the park near my house. This is where I take Louie to play ball. I have to make him run around and practice retrieving and such because otherwise he ends up bored from being stuck in the house, and becomes annoying and disruptive/destructive.

I should have gone out to take photos a week ago or something. Most of the trees have dropped their leaves by now. There are probably some out in the woods that still have them, and I do intend to go out there, but not just yet.

In the middle of the park is this man-made pond. When the weather is warmer, there tend to be ducks and Canada geese swimming on it. Most of them have left for the winter, though.

Leaves! Yellow leaves. Might notice a distinct lack of maple leaves. This might be Canada, but maple trees are only really seen down south. People don't even really try to grow them in their gardens here; it's too far north and the climate isn't right. I didn't see a maple tree until I was 13 and went on a trip down east to Quebec.
And that's it. orz Maybe next time I go out I'll get more that actually turn out not-blurry, ahaha.

Date: 2010-10-05 03:25 pm (UTC)Now, sing to meee. ≖◡≖Actually, I couldn't listen here anyway, don't do that.Hee, I know they're super annoying, but at least they're cute dogs? Well, I think they're cute. Especially the Spaniel.
And your autumn looks nicer than ours. Everything's so yellow. It rained too much here and it made a lot of the trees lose all their leaves already. :'|

Date: 2010-10-06 02:59 am (UTC)I don't like big dogs but Louie is more annoying than scary. He likes to put his head in my lap and drool all over my jeans. :|

Date: 2010-10-06 10:06 pm (UTC)I'm scared of dogs in general so any dog looking at me causes me to panic, pfft. Though this does sound more annoying than scary.

Date: 2010-10-05 04:08 pm (UTC)Only a few early bloomer maples have changed color here. I'll make sure to send you a photo when all the trees change color on Mount Royal. I find it rather pretty. ♥
Last year we got some windy storms that blew all the leaves off just as they were changing. I felt cheated...
