This week has been a whirlwind and it isn't even over yet.

☆ As I mentioned to several people previously, it was decided recently that I would be moving back in with my parents. Yeah, it's a little sudden, but we never do anything halfway in this household. I'll probably be here for a year, maybe two. There's good money to be made in this town. Hopefully it will be worth having to be driven crazy by my parents. Anyway, my new address is here, for those who need it.

☆ Meanwhile, mum keeps pushing me to apply for jobs right away. It's frustrating, because I only just got here and I don't even have my resume draft here, nor clothes to wear to interviews or anything like that. I wish she would just wait until I was finished moving everything from Saskatoon to here. Not to mention that she keeps trying to push me toward office jobs and I just, argh. Definitely not the kind of thing I'm interested in, though I will be applying to some of that anyway. Ah, well. We'll just see how everything goes. :|

☆ I've been having difficulty getting anything personal done. Trying to find the time to write personal letters, let alone the drive to do it, has become very difficult. And let's not get into the whole studying French thing, argh. Hopefully by the time the move is over, things will be settled down, and I won't be constantly bothered by people. Still, I've been trying to make time to write every day, though the stuff I produce tends to be rather lacking in quality lately.

☆ I've begun restructuring the Nordic Index. It's going slowly because of the craziness of my current situation, but I think if I do a bit every day it won't take too long to get through it. Not gonna' lie, I'll be pretty happy when the restructuring is finished - not just because it will be complete, but also because it will be much easier to take a look at KM numbers and come to general conclusions regarding trends in character popularity etc. I'm a huge nerd for that kind of thing.

Hang on there! I can totally relate to that "can't get anything personal done". A couple of years back I got cheated on a deal so well that it took me five years to get my finances back on track, and I even lost my credit for two years. This was sort of depressing and sad to say I neglegted all my duties for a long time, not to mention I stopped writing altogether (with the exception of pretentiously happy LJ-entries) and as for studying... whoo boy.

On a hindsight, though, it was good for me because back then I seriously needed all of the little energy I had for simply getting better. It also helped that I got the job I'm in now. The pay isn't much to speak about but there's something remarkably therapeutic about crafts.

Ahhh, man. Sounds like that must have sucked. Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one who's had troubles. Far better that than thinking "It's just me, and I suck".

I think after things settle down a little, I'll be feeling a lot better, and it'll be easier to find time to get my personal stuff done. It's just hard right now with the moving and my parents constantly in my face. щ(◉Д◉щ)

Office vs other... To be honest, I would probably be happiest getting some kind of physical job. I like stuff that involves lots of moving around rather than sitting on my butt all the time. I'm sure I can find something without too much trouble, but with the way mum goes on, it's difficult.

Ugh, I hope it will be that way too. Right now I'm just like UGHHH NO GO AWAY PLEASE. I CAN'T BREATHE.

Probably going to try to get something that involves... ehhh I don't know, physical work. The local oil plant is always looking for monkeys to do basic stuff, so I might try there. To be honest, I'd love to just go back to my old job working stock in the houseware department at Superstore, but neither the hours nor the pay is good enough. :|

Office jobs can be good (if a bit boring lol.) At least you get to sit down at a desk! And can go take coffee breaks for a change of mood! :D

Thanks darlin'. <3 So far it's going well, it's just everything is so AHHH BUSY.

Ehh, I guess office would be okay, but... I much prefer things where I'm not sitting all the time! I like to move a lot and do physical work and such. So I'm mostly looking for that. But mum's like "Noooo you should do (whatever)" щ(◉Д◉щ) Sigh.
