Today was... I don't even know. Not sure. I slept in too long, I didn't go to coffee with my colleagues, and I did very little that was actually productive. That, combined with other, indistinct things, leaves me feeling rather sulky. It's easy to tell that something is not right, because my house is very messy. This troubles me. It's a bad sign, that. Well, I resolve to clean everything tomorrow, preferably in the morning, just to get it over with.

I did go out and about a bit today. My pen was frustrating the hell out of me, so I've caved and decided to get a proper one. So, I went on a little adventure. The Michaels in town is in an area that I've never been to, so after triple-checking everything I headed out. Not a big deal actually, but whenever I go somewhere new I tend to get a little anxious. Anyway, calligraphy pen GET. I tried it out this evening and man, is it ever better than the clunky thing I was using before.

Aside from that, I've decided to take up knitting again, so I picked up some yarn. I need a new winter scarf. The one I have that I made a few years ago is all right, but the colours are hideous. Rust orange and navy blue (I got lots of it, for cheap, is the reason). Sooo now I have some blue and black and white yarn, yay. Need to roll it up into balls, and then I'll be good to go.

I'll be going to my uncle's in Edmonton for Thanksgiving this year. My parents will be there as well. I'll be flying out on the Friday, and returning on the Sunday. To be perfectly honest, I don't want to go. It's a complete waste of my time. But I thought it would make her happy, and it's only a few days. Sigh. Maybe I'll get some writing done while at the airport or something. The flight is short, which is good.

I feel very blah. :| For this reason, I have been somewhat noncommunicative. Please don't take it personally - I just don't want my bad mood to rub off on people.

Once you get used to it, it doesn't require a lot of patience - for doing simple things, anyway. I like it because I have no patience for things like television or movies unless I'm doing something with my hands, so it's a nice brainless thing to occupy myself with while doing that.

Haa, maybe tomorrow I will take photos. It's really, really ugly, really xD But it's also huuuuge. I made it like a harry potter scarf, see, but did not use those colours.

*squeeze* I'm sure I'll feel better sooner or later.
