Various things
Aug. 3rd, 2009 01:06 pmDearest mother of mine:
Calling me 9 times in the span of 5 minutes is just a liiiiiittle obsessive, don't you think? And it just makes me even more inclined to ignore the telephone.
Lots of love, Me.
Anyway. I slept quite well last night, even though I went to bed late, but unfortunately the telephone woke me up at seven... and ten... and...yeah. Now I'm sleepy, but satisfied. My bed is very comfortable, and I wish I could stay in it all day. 8D
Hmm, need to do various things today. I want to go take back my library books. Aaaand need to make some doctors appointments while I'm there. Also check in at the English department. Sigh. Also need to make some phone calls (dentist, driving school, insurance place...) I should have done everything on Friday/The weekend, but of course Fringe distracted me, and many of the places I need to call would not be open on the weekend.
Sab is going to be here in just a little over a week, and I'm kind of starting to spazz. I need to clean my house from top to bottom and make sure everything is in good order. I also need to put caulking on some of the panels in the washroom, and I want to wash the baseboards and touch up the paint and and and aklsdjf ;~; Well. It looks like I'll have to get on that, then.
I want to do some reading tonight. Not sure what though. I need to finish up a play I was reading, and thennnn not sure - maybe one of my new textbooks. One of them is Martel's The Life of Pi, and I've been meaning to read it for a long time, sooo I might start with that.
Or maybe I'll just sit myself down and read some Moomin comics. Yessssss.

Date: 2009-08-03 08:28 pm (UTC)... Also, the random inclusion of the Thorn letter in your comment makes me giddy. But I do tend to get irrationally happy whenever I see archaic things like that.

Date: 2009-08-04 01:25 am (UTC)I-it's so cute.
One of my teachers in elementary school had a book of the comics. I used to read them after lunch. ♥
Also, I highly recommend The Life of Pi. I read it a while ago and really enjoyed it.
