Multifandom Drabble Fics ☆
Jul. 24th, 2018 06:37 pmIt's been a bit more than a week since works for this exchange were revealed, but I only just got around to posting about it. :) I received several lovely gifts in three different fandoms, yay! And I wrote 5 works, in 3 different fandoms. Double yay!
I'd been looking forward to this exchange all year, and I'm glad it went so well. :D It really is a fun little exchange.
Anyway, here are the works I received.
Nirvana in Fire:
☆ Seeking Warmth by Melody_Jade. 300 words, T, Prince Yu/Mei Changsu. Back in Jiangzuo, Changsu had collected a dossier of information on each prince, including within it Prince Yu's preference for men.
Pretty much what it says on the tin and I am still absolutely floored with delight that somebody wrote this pairing for me. It's the one I decided to chance putting in my requests, but never in a million years would have expected to actually receive.
A Redtail's Dream:
☆ A Sip of Coffee by helia7. 100 words, G, Jouko Kuikka. Jouko's morning coffee break
My favourite grumpy baker! <3 This one is cozy.
☆ Like I've Known You All My Life by Lunarium. 100 words, G, Vuokko Tikkanen & Mrs Squirrel. “Yet it seems I’ve known you all my life.”
LOOK, someone wrote me Vuokko fic! *_* It's charming. :D
☆ Lunch Break by Elleth. 300 words, E, Joona Kuikka/Hannu Viitanen. Lunch hour in the garden shed.
Oh boy. Here there be porn. And it is very good indeed. :)a
Stand Still Stay Silent:
☆ Árni's Dream by Wavewright62. 100 words, T, Árni Ragnarsson & Freyja with reference to Reynir. It was just a dream. Of course.
Ah yes, just a dream... well, that's one explanation for everything. :D
☆ Before the Memory Fades Completely by Wavewright62. 100 words, E, Sigrun & Sjødraug. When we were young, you taught me to swim here.
This one is beautifully poetic.
☆ Whalesong by Elleth. 100 words, G, survivors outside the known world. Heligoland has been a fortress before.
Beautifully atmospheric. Also, creepy voices in the radio! *_*
Of the fics that weren't written for me, I'd also like to rec all the other SSSS works, the two Year in Hereafter works, and the one VME work that I didn't write. I'm sure there are a lot of other awesome things in the collection too, but these are the only fandoms I read stuff for.
And to keep this from being super long, I'll put the ones I wrote under a cut. :)
