Received news at work that we're going to be doing an extended maintenance season. What this means: We'll be super busy until August, maybe September. What this also means: I will be busy as hell for longer than expected. (And exhausted, too, as a result, of course).

I know I shouldn't complain - and I am grateful to be able to get overtime auto-approved in this situation - but hoooo boy. I am going to be so tired. It's a good thing this is happening during the summer; I don't think I'd be able to make it through without being able to take sunny evening walks.

Anyway! The Multifandom Drabble Exchange is in noms period - see multifandomdrabble for schedule/info. Normally I wouldn't take on another exchange, but I think I'm pretty capable of turning out 100 words in a week. ;) Is anybody else thinking about participating?


Note to self:
-Go through NoFM fic revs, fix, re-upload
-Get commission info to Shaeiira
-Finish colouring character design entry
-Upload those damn pictures, FFS

I'll be participating in the drabble exchange - I told myself 'no more exchanges until Trick or Treat' (and then nothing else this year) but drabbles are fun and it's only 100 words.

Ahhh unfortunately, no. This is unscheduled maintenance; so, it's work that we didn't plan for. More bullshit on top of existing bullshit. xD But I'll be fiiiiine.... I'll console myself with baked goods and thoughts of extra cash. :)

Yay overtime, but boo for exhaustion.

I did the multifandom drabble thing last year on Imzy, and it was heaps of fun. Very light and easy - I ended up writing a bunch of treats.

It'll be nice to do a simple exchange like this. Though last year I saw some people stressing over it, and I can't imagine why.
