Victoria adventures 03

yuuagoToday was not too complicated. Most of the morning was spent shopping for work clothes. I succeeded in finding some work clothes, as well as a nice trenchcoat that I will have to wait until spring to wear.
In the afternoon I went on a cemetery tour down at the Ross Bay Cemetery. It turns out that the Old Cemeteries Society of Victoria does weekly tours down there (with a brief break in January/early February due to weather). Today was the first tour of the year. They don't cover the whole of the cemetery, just select parts - each tour has a different subject. This one was "top 10" features of the cemetery - for example, they have lots of graves that are inlaid with black and white tile patterns. That's not unique, but the number of them is unusual. And so on.
I would have liked to spend more time down there after the tour was over, but considering I'd decided to walk there and back, and was very tired, it's probably best that I didn't. ...Next time, I'll take the bus.
Originally I'd intended to go to another movie this evening, but when I looked up the actual location it was quite far from where I'm staying, and I decided on a night in instead. So. Painted my nails and just chilled. Not bad. Very, very tired though.
