Ao3 - Hetalia - Finally!

Aha!

Ao3 has renamed the Hetalia fandom tag from Hetalia: Axis Powers to Hetalia (Anime and Manga).

I've been hoping for a change like this for a long time. Hetalia has been through three different title changes; it's been Hetalia World Stars since 2014. But most people just call it Hetalia, and Ao3's renaming reflects current fandom usage.

It looks like existing works still display as Hetalia: Axis Powers, but I went and renamed the fandom on all of my existing works using the mass-edit instructions on this tumblr post.

Text version of the instructions under the cut.

1. Go to your stats page. Click "Edit works".
2. Scroll to Hetalia: Axis Powers. Select all. Then click edit.
3. Scroll to "Fandoms" and change to "Hetalia (Anime and Manga)"
4. Click "update all works".

There are some confirmation screens in this process; check to make sure that you are only selecting your Hetalia works. And then, voila, mass-edit.

Thank you for sharing! That name has always been so uncomfortable and I'm relieved it's finally been changed. Definitely updating my works with the new tag!

Ohhh!! that worked so well, thanks Yuu <33 maybe it's a bit silly but I've never actually done the mass-edit works before, so it was really helpful to have the steps. Happy to hear about the change!!
