Judo adventures - Grading
Jun. 27th, 2024 10:51 pmThis evening, I was upgraded from orange belt to half-green. :D
Yay, progress!
It was really nice. L was upgraded to half-blue, which is great, I know he's been trying really hard. And H was upgraded to full green. Our grading was done together with the younger class, so M had the honour of grading both his kids to half-orange, which was really nice to watch.
Summer classes taught by D will start next week, and of course I'll be doing them. I know that C, VP, and L also plan to go. And there will also be the occasional alternating Saturday class taught by T-sensei.
The above is good - both because I don't really want to take a summer break away from judo, and also because... half-green is my least favourite belt, colour-wise. Orange and green do not go together, man! Eugh! I want to move on to full green ASAP!
If I work really really hard in both the summer and autumn, hopefully I'll be rid of this belt by December. :P
