Groundwork today. Working on chokes. I don't remember the procedure for either of them, except that both chokes involved grasping the opponent's lapel with your right hand, on your left side/their right side, and then pushing their head under your right arm. And then you use various techniques to flip them over and hold them down. But the details escape me right now, except that one of them involved rolling your opponent over your head. (?!)
They were called "guillotine choke" and "loop choke", might need to look up later. Apparently guillotine is more commonly seen in no-gi MMA.
Going to have to sign up for the summer session soon. I'm looking forward to it. Apparently the classes will be slightly longer than usual; that might take me some time to adjust to, but it'll be nice to get some time in. Sometimes the 1-hour classes feel too short.
