yuuagoYesterday was nice. I took my dad out for breakfast, and then we went to the vintage car show. It was smaller than usual, but there were still plenty of cool rides to look at.
I've been very tired lately, mentally, and it's been hard to sit down and write entries. I keep thinking about things to write and then forgetting them.
Yesterday afternoon, I went out and picked up bottles and cans that people had thrown on the ground along my walking route. I also took a bag for garbage, too, but that filled out a lot more quickly. Next time, I'll bring two bags for garbage. The cans - I picked up at least two dollars worth, maybe more. So there is that. And now at least part of the area is a little bit cleaner.
Later this week, I'll be going to the Two-Spirit Showcase. It's a pride month event, a drag show composed completely of two-spirit performers. I've never been to a drag show before; the tickets are always so expensive. But this one is free, so eh, why not. And I know one of the performers, so it'll be nice to see. When I was booking my ticket, it showed that a huge amount of people have already booked; I would say the theatre is maybe 80% full. I was surprised - it's a pretty large theatre - but really happy to see that.
I think one of my friends has been sucked into a multilevel marketing scheme. I'm not sure what to do about this, though. I guess I'll have to do some research. From what I remember reading about this stuff before, the thing to do is 1. not give them money, and 2. be there for them. I don't think they would listen to me if I tried to explain the problem. We aren't all that close. But. We'll see.
I want to write Kajillionaire fanfic, but I don't have any solid ideas. And it's hard to make my brain settle down so I can sit down and work on anything; I have so much anxiety these days. But maybe I could try a drabble.
