yuuagoOur walk down to the Dallas Road Trail the other day made us realize that it isn't really all that far, so yesterday we walked there again, from our hotel to the Mile Zero monument, and then from there to the Ogden Point Breakwater.
It was a lovely day. Perfect. The view from the breakwater was amazing. We tried to do a little geocaching, but the ones in the area were micros and we weren't able to find anything. But looking is most of the fun, really.
We went along the upper deck of the breakwater, then went back down to sit on the lower, stone leve and have a closer view of the water, just sitting there for a while. Then we went down along the beaches, walking by the shore and looking out at the water.
Then back to the Dallas Road trail for a bit. We found a bench and sat there reading for an hour or two. Sunny afternoon, not cold.
Evening was takeout noodles and more B5 (ep 05 - really fun episode with G'Kar, who we've both become weirdly fond of).
It was lovely.
Tik's leaving today. I wish we had more time together.
