Yesterday, we spent the morning reading in Beacon Hill Park. Then in the afternoon, we went whale watching. The boat ride was very cold, but very nice, with lots of good views. It was a while before we got to see the whales, but when we did, it was very cool! There were four of them. And some came very close - one swam right under our boat. :O

So, Tik was happy. And I was glad that the whales excursion went so well, since obviously it's unpredictable.

After that, we went to an excellent Indian restaurant for supper (Curry Club on Blanshard - we will definitely be going there again). And then picked up a bottle of wine and headed back to the room to watch movies.

In all, a very nice day.
