Man, writing emails makes me want to keel over.
At work, it's no problem; I can send hundreds of work-related emails every day without breaking a sweat. It's not a big deal at all.
But outside of work, writing a short email to ask someone a very simple question makes me want to dig a hole and stay in there, like some kind of very anxious badger.
Why.

Date: 2023-08-26 11:29 pm (UTC)Maybe it's something to do with the formulaic nature of work/school emails? As long as you put the right words in the right order, nothing can go too wrong. Whenever I contact someone outside of work/school contexts though, I'll have to be more careful with what I say and how I phrase it, so that
