I am writing this entry instead of writing an email

Man, writing emails makes me want to keel over.

At work, it's no problem; I can send hundreds of work-related emails every day without breaking a sweat. It's not a big deal at all.

But outside of work, writing a short email to ask someone a very simple question makes me want to dig a hole and stay in there, like some kind of very anxious badger.

Why.

Aw, I feel that so hard. ❤️ I definitely feel like, if at work, it's not really me, because it's job-me, and everyone knows it! We're all suffering thru capitalism, so it isn't personal! Easier imo to shrug off emails, or phone calls, or what-not. But when it's really-me the stakes seem much higher.

Yeah, that's probably what it is.

The funny thing is that like - a lot of the time when my brain is going haywire over "oh no, gotta send an email", I'm... contacting somebody else's "Worksona". So really, it's work-selves all the way down.
