Man, whose idea was it to put fragrance in eye cosmetics? Terrible decision. Shame! Shame on that person and a pox on their house.

Not that my eyes are sensitive or anything, but there is no reason whatsoever that they should smell like flowers or whatever the hell. None!

(On a happier note, I'm getting better at putting on eyeliner, after sucking at it for years and years. ...The practice is partially motivated by a current WIP, but that's neither here nor there.)

Aside from the Obvious Issues, human faces are not structured in a way that one can smell whatever product is put on the eyes (unlike say hand cream), right? Why would anyone have thought that was a good idea??

(Congrats on the eyeliner!! on behalf of those of us who have given up on it...)

Yes, exactly! It's triply stupid! You can't even smell it! At least scented lipstick kind of makes sense, since it's right under the nose, but... mascara? Eyeshadow? WHY.

(Took me 20 years to get even this far with eyeliner, how the heck do some people make it look so perfect?!)

The only thing I can think of is "adding extraneous stuff as an excuse to bump up the price", but that probably isn't it. :Va
