Judo adventures - Class 66

Attending: Me, J, M, M2, VP, and the new guy, G. Sensei instructing. F also showed up, just to watch and say hi; he's a brown belt who has come a few times, long-standing member of the club, but hasn't been able to do much actual judo this year due to work. It was nice to see him again.

Had a brief feeling of joy that I managed to keep up with J while doing lines; well, not completely keep up, but close. Not bad, considering everything. ;V

Upright class today. Ouchi-gari and kouchi-gari. I find this one kind of awkward to get the form right. It's hard! Worked with VP for the practice. Took a while to get both of them - I felt really off tonight - but that's all right. Upside, even if I do find these two tricky, at least I got a lot of practice falling. :D

Going to have to remember to pull the sleeve down while doing these; it all goes much more smoothly that way.

Little bit of randori at the end. Did a round with VP, then J, then M2. Didn't manage to pull off anything interesting myself, but it was still very fun.
